可搭配各種燈泡使用，光罩建議調整至飼養箱的其中一角，給活體動物自行調整冷熱空間，預防燙傷。

並注意通風環境，燈具建議使用的最高瓦數分別是14cm（100w以下），8.5″（150w以下），10”（250w以下）

搭配陶瓷燈加熱用，亦可搭配控溫器使用
